About this course

This course covers the Cambridge A2 Level English Language syllabus (9093), the second and final year of the A Level programme. Building on AS Level foundations, students will engage in advanced language investigation, independent research, and sophisticated writing tasks. Paper 1 — Reading
Section A: directed response to a text, plus a comparison of your writing with the original. Section B: analysis of an unseen text (each text about 550–750 words).

Section A: a text of no more than 400 words plus a reflective commentary. Section B: one extended piece of 600–900 words from a choice of three.
