Cambridge AS & A Level Results Are Out for Jun 2026: How Pakistan Performed
Cambridge released June 2026 AS & A Level results on August 11. Over 100,000 Pakistani students received their outcomes, with Physics, Maths, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science the most popular subjects this year.

Cambridge International Education (CIE) released AS and A Level results for the June 2026 series on Tuesday, August 11, giving nearly 368,000 students worldwide their outcomes for one of the most demanding exam seasons in recent memory.
A Strong Showing From Pakistan
More than 100,000 students from over 850 schools across Pakistan sat the June 2026 series for Cambridge AS & A Level, O Level, and IGCSE. Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science were this year's most popular subjects, reflecting a continued student preference for STEM and business pathways.
Students who sat Cambridge IGCSE and O Level exams (over 315,000 worldwide) will receive their results on August 18.
Growing Demand for Cambridge Qualifications
Cambridge reported that AS & A Level entries grew 5 percent globally compared to last year, a sign of rising confidence in the qualification. Rod Smith, Cambridge's Group Managing Director for International Education, said students are increasingly drawn to AS & A Levels because they "combine deep subject knowledge with the skills universities and employers value most," particularly as AI reshapes the workplace.
Cambridge also pointed to new UCAS data showing that 98 percent of A Level students who applied to UK universities in the 2025 cycle received at least one offer. For Pakistani students weighing whether to study at home or abroad, this confirms what Virtual City School has always maintained: a Cambridge qualification earned from Pakistan carries the same international weight as one earned anywhere else in the world.
